Zonta Club of Lansing to Present Auction October 12

A fundraiser and celebration of Lucile Belen’s life and legacy to the city of Lansing will take place on October 12 at the Country Club of Lansing, 2200 Moores River Drive in Lansing. Advance ticket prices are $15 each or $25 per couple or $20 each or $30 per couple at the door. There will be hors d’oeuvres served and a cash bar.

Belen’s trademark hats have been bestowed to Zonta Club of Lansing and will be auctioned, with funds donated to Belen’s favorite charities.

Clinton County Presents Go-Green Fair

Clinton County and Sparrow Clinton Hospital will present the Clinton County Sustainable Business Fair on September 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Come discover what it means to go green and how changes to operations and facilities can translate into cost savings, environmental benefits and positive impacts to quality of life.  The event is free and will be held at CCRESA, 1013 S. US Highway 27 in St. Johns.

IRHF to Present Tribute Concert

Music icon Lee Greenwood (best known for his single “God Bless the USA”) will headline a special September 11 hometown heroes tribute concert, presented by Ingham Regional Healthcare Foundation. 

Tickets are now on sale for the event and can be purchased online at StarTickets.com. The concert will held at 6:45 p.m., at the Lansing Country Club, 2200 Moores River Drive in Lansing. Tickets are $30 general admission and $20 for lawn seating. Refreshments will be available on site.

Ingham Regional’s Tri-County Hero Award will be announced and recognized. Ingham Regional Healthcare Foundation created the Tri-County Hero Award to recognize the heroism of emergency responders from Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.

 

   

Hazen Receives Certification

PTD Technology recently announced that John Hazen, help desk analyst, has received Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist–Dynamics certification. Hazen, who has been with PTD Technology for 14 years, will now install and support the new Retail Management System (RMS) Point of Sale (POS) 2009 for clients.  

In the last year, Hazen has answered over 4,700 calls to the PTD Technology help desk.

 

   

Maner Costerisan News

The local CPA and business advisory firm of Maner Costerisan has announced that Loann K. Snell has earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Snell has been with Maner Costerisan since 1999. She currently works within the firm’s administration department and previously served as a bookkeeper.
Maner Costerisan has also announced that David M. Raeck, CPA, principal, has been named to the 2010 Task Force of the Year by the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
