Four local business people have been appointed to human services organization Highfields Inc. board of directors. Michael Foster, Wally Markham, Kristin Bartley and Sara Bennett were elected.

An attorney with Plante & Moran, Foster provides business, tax and accounting solutions to real estate and public education sectors.

Markham, a retired banker, is returning for a second term on the Highfields board.

Bartley is the controller for Two Men and a Truck. She joined the company in 2004.
