Hicks Appointed to Committee

Jeffrey C. Hicks, Managing Partner of the Lansing law firm, Hicks & Mullett, PLLC, was recently appointed to the Michigan Office of Regulatory Reinvention’s Occupational Licensing Advisory Rules Committee.

The committee will assist the Office of Regulatory Reinvention in identifying duplicative, obsolete, unnecessary or unduly restrictive occupation licensing rules that are not conducive to Michigan’s business growth and job creation.

The committee will also evaluate each of Michigan’s 91 regulated occupations to determine whether the rules currently in place provide enough benefits to outweigh the cost to taxpayers.
