The Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) honored Pat McPharlin, president and CEO of MSU Federal Credit Union, with the Hall of Fame Distinguished Service Award at their annual meeting in Traverse City. McPharlin will be a member of the MCUL Hall of Fame along with other important leaders. McPharlin was recognized for his leadership on several fronts: his dedication to the MSU Federal Credit Union, the credit union movement, his community and Michigan State University.
McPharlin served MSU Federal Credit Union since 1973 as a vice president of member services before becoming president in 2001 and doubled MSUFCU’s assets within five years of being president.
